Collarenebri Central School is located in a small centre in north-west NSW. Students are drawn from the immediate township and surrounding properties with some students traveling considerable distances to school by bus and private car.
Collarenebri Central School is committed to the provision of comprehensive education for all student Kindergarten to Year 12. Special emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy and the effective use of technology. Northern Border Senior Access (NBSA) program provides Year 11 and Year 12 students with educational opportunities using telecommunication links with three other schools. The development of social skills and the enhancement of each student's self-esteem, confidence and motivation go across all teaching/learning activities. Each student is valued as an individual and is encouraged to become part of the group.
